The APC SUA1500RM2U Smart-UPS provides stable, consistent power for data protection while saving space with rack mounting capability. Critical hardware like Intel and Unix based fileservers, network components, Point of Sale and ATM equipment, back office infrastructure for retail/bank applications, and minicomputers are protected by this award winning Smart-UPS from APC. Servers and their appliances, blades servers and their components, and switches and hubs capable of rack-mounting are all afforded optimal space consideration with the APC SUA1500RM2U Smart-UPS. Installation and maintenance are simplified with front-access service capability.
IT administrators are provided management software of servers and workstations with PowerChute, allowing them to perform safe system shutdowns and advanced management of the UPS and systems connected to it. USB (not available on all models) or serial connection is provided. Optional accessories are able to be installed and managed with the SmartSlot accessory slot to enhance the capability of this UPS. Options include Web browser and environmental monitoring and management, capability for managing out-of-band data streams, and expansion of serial ports. Compatibility with connected devices is ensured with clean sine-wave output. Battery management intelligence provides a highly accessible UPS. Bar-graphs provide load and battery information. The features of this power supply backup provide one reliable UPS.
